CHORAL INTROIT Psalm 23 M. Goetz, arr J. Ray
*CALL TO WORSHIP Bonnie Bina
ONE: We are an Easter people, and we give thanks daily for the presence of new life.
ALL: Christ has risen and we continue to follow.
ONE: Jesus was dead but is now calling us forth to live into the Good News of resurrection.
ALL: Christ has risen and we continue to follow.
ONE: Through sunshine and rain clouds, through changes and differing ways of being church, we still celebrate and worship.
ALL: Christ has risen and we continue to follow.
ONE: Christ has risen indeed; and we see evidence of the resurrection everywhere.
ALL: Let us sing praises as we worship our living God.
*OPENING HYMN God of Change and Glory Black #177
*INVOCATION Pastor Marc
*CALL TO CONFESSION Bonnie
As we gather each week, there are things that we realize that we have done or left undone, or that God might be calling us to be apart of. Let us take a moment in silence to acknowledge those things and how they may cause separation for us from our neighbors… or our true selves… or maybe we might even think they separate us from God. Let us be in silence
*SILENT PERSONAL REFLECTION (at least 30 seconds)
*PRAYER OF CONFESSION (unison) Bonnie
O life-giving God, sometimes we forget that we are Easter people. Forgive us when we do not see the potential in things we would just like to simply discard. We confess we often like to take the easy way and just bury things that might take too much energy to revive. Open our hearts and minds. Heal our spirits and forgive us, we pray. Amen.

PROPHETIC READING Bonnie
Ezekiel 37:1-10
1The hand of the Lord came upon me, and brought me out by the spirit of the Lord and set me down in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. 2The spirit led me all around them; there were very many lying in the valley, and they were very dry. 3The spirit said to me, “Mortal, can these bones live?” I answered, “O Lord God, you know.” 4Then they said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them: O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. 5Thus says the Lord God to these bones: I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live. 6I will lay sinews on you and will cause flesh to come upon you and cover you with skin and put breath in you, and you shall live, and you shall know that I am the Lord.”
7So I prophesied as I had been commanded, and as I prophesied, suddenly there was a noise, a rattling, and the bones came together, bone to its bone. 8I looked, and there were sinews on them, and flesh had come upon them, and skin had covered them, but there was no breath in them. 9Then the spirit said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, mortal, and say to the breath: Thus says the Lord God: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.” 10I prophesied as commanded, and the breath came into them, and they lived and stood on their feet, a vast multitude.
CHORAL ANTHEM For the Beauty of the Earth B. Red
EPISTLE READING Bonnie
1 Corinthians 12:12-27
12For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. 13For in the one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.
14Indeed, the body does not consist of one member but of many. 15If the foot would say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. 16And if the ear would say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. 17If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole body were hearing, where would the sense of smell be? 18But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as God chose. 19If all were a single member, where would the body be? 20As it is, there are many members yet one body. 21The eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you,” nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” 22On the contrary, the members of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, 23and those members of the body that we think less honorable we clothe with greater honor, and our less respectable members are treated with greater respect, 24whereas our more respectable members do not need this. But God has so arranged the body, giving the greater honor to the inferior member, 25that there may be no dissension within the body, but the members may have the same care for one another. 26If one member suffers, all suffer together with it; if one member is honored, all rejoice together with it.
27Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.

Wow Wednesday
Wednesday, May 6th will be our first session of Spiritual Renewal we are calling WOW Wednesdays, which is made possible through our Lilly Grant for Clergy and Congregational Renewal. It is FREE, even dinner. Sign up on the table in the sanctuary so we know how much food we need. We will begin with dinner at 5:15 PM and our learning time will begin around 6:00 PM and last no longer than an hour. Pastor Marc will engage us in a discussion about the practice of creating sacred space in the places we live. We will play with our imaginations in what we see as holy and/or sacred. Consider bringing an object or a book or art that you find meaning in and that may be used in grounding you in personal connection with the Divine.
Angel Care Team April/May
Joan Holverson and Lori LaBrasseur are the Angels for April. As May begins, Nikki Froemming and Cathy Johnson will take over visits. Please let the office know if you would like to be visited or know someone who needs a visit.

Lost Hearing Aid
A Hearing aid was found on the sidewalk. If you are missing one it is in the office.
