*Choral Introit There’s a Sweet, Sweet Spirit by Delores Akers
*CALL TO WORSHIP: Marcie Watson, reader
One: Our world offers many wide avenues
and beautiful boulevards to walk;
Many: Our God invites us to walk the road of service and sacrifice.
One: Our society suggests we put down our roots
in the shallow soil of pleasure and greed.
Many: Our God seeks to plant us on the banks of hope,
watered by the rivers of joy and grace
One: Our culture promotes achievement, success,
climbing to the top, ringing the bell.
Many: Our God tells us if we want to be first
we need to go to the end of the line.

*OPENING HYMN “To You, O God All Creatures Sing” Blk#17 vs 1, 3, and 4
*OPENING PRAYER (Unison) Marcie
You, loving God, are the ground of our being and the river of life; you both steady our roots and draw them to seek the living waters. You are like the sunlight enticing us to grow taller and like the breeze rustling our leaves. You are with us through hard seasons of summer heat, and in the nights when winter’s frost ices the landscape your love warms and sustains us. You are everything to us. Let our gratitude be great, let our praise be plentiful, let our worship be wonder-full! Through Christ Jesus your ever-living Son. Amen!

Please contact the office if you need help setting up your giving account online using our new software provider, Churchtrac.
Cookies/Baked Goods Wanted
Do you have extra cookies or baked goods? Love to bake but don’t want a lot of extras at home. We would love to have a supply of frozen cookies to serve on Sundays. This would relieve the burden on those who choose to serve on Sunday. Please put them in the freezer in the Plymouth Room.
Help out with Worship
There are sign ups at the back of the church for June and July. If you are able to greet, usher, or read, help serve coffee or clean up after Fellowship, please sign up there.
Angel Express and Angel Care Team
The Angels for the month of May were Cathy Johnson (320) 763-3947 and Carolyn Chlian (218) 943-5630. Volunteers are needed to cover additional months. Please contact the church office or Daisy 763-9461.
Spirit on Screen
Join us as we watch Inside Out. Inside Out is a Pixar film from 2015. Its run time is 1 hr 35 minutes. Bring a snack or a meal for yourself. We will share popcorn and a beverage. Inside Out is about growing up and navigating change. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley’s main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.
Upcoming Birthdays and Anniversaries
If we have missed your birthday or anniversary, let usknow. Also we have discovered as we have transferred over to Churchtrac that we don’t have birthdays and special dates for a lot of us. Feel free to call the church to help us keep this up to date.
Morning Circle
The members of Circle One extend an invitation to ladies of the Church to join us for lunch on Thursday, June 15 at 11:30. This is a special event of socialization. If you are able to attend daytime meetings we would love to have you join us this month and, in the future, as well. We generally meet at 9:30 on the third Thursday. We greatly enhance our friendships within the Church Family by this fellowship!
Meals available
Our church has received a donation of frozen meals to distribute to people in need of a nutrition supplement. If the economy and times have made you a person a supplement would benefit or are aware of a person in need please contact Pastor Jill. All information will remain confidential.
June’s conference-wide mission offering Strengthen the church is our conference mission offering for the month of June. Look for an envelope or write Strengthen the Church in the memo. Details of the offering follow.
